Trundle is a small town about 175 nautical miles west of Sydney, lies in wheat growing area on the Bogan Gate-Tottenham railway line. The Trundle Hotel is an iconic country pub. There has been a hotel on site since 1888 - with the current building constructed in 1912. The National Estate Listed Trundle Hotel boasts to having the longest verandah in NSW (87.6m) on the widest main street in NSW at 60 metres.
The Trundle airfield with its grass runways is located nearby. With a scrumptious lunch, in the company of fellow aviators, the Trundle fly-in should be a great day out! Cost is $60 per person for main course, desert and cheese plate plus airfield transport.
